This model holds a special place in my heart. Robert Lang's A Miura-Ken Beauty Rose is a fascinating piece of folding. In the world of Origami, Mr. Lang is a mathematician who designs all of his models with a mathematical basis. This rose is also my first successfully folded Crease Pattern (CP) which gets the folder to a certain point, but leaves the finished product up to the folder's interpretation.
This piece was folded from a piece of regular printer paper, cut to an 8 1/2" square. |

Diagrams can be found in the 2007 (I think...) OUSA convention book.
However this is an online guide that is very helpful for solving the CP, but I'll have to find it again. I'll post it up when I find it.
